Kyani Executive Trip

Members of the executive team of Kyani from around the world were privileged to go on an incredible trip to Idaho and Wyoming on July 14 - 19, 2014. The first stop was on Monday, July 14 in Salt Lake City, Utah where they spent the night after many long hours in flight. The next morning they were bussed to Idaho Falls, Idaho just in time to get to Carl's Ranch.

Everyone was greeted with smiles as they arrived at the ranch.

"Experience more" was exactly what they got!

Experiencing a tour of the cabin,

experiencing a gathering of fun,

camaraderie, and

food.

The beauty was breath-taking where one could.....

see for miles without a soul in sight.

Horses were available to ride with the real deal! Cowboys!

A part of history could be seen,

as a reflection of the past

was displayed for all to see.

The corals,

the sage brush, and

the cattle were all part of the experience.

We experienced Janeen's happy face too!

The return trip to Idaho Falls greeted us with a most incredible sunset.

People got settled in their various hotel rooms for the night and then and headed out the next day to see Carl's potato plant, his farm, and the Kyani Headquarters.

Buses were loaded with happy-faced people!

The first stop for this group was......

Taylor Produce.

We were greeted by.....
Logan and Pete.

Mary Louise, Mike, and Gerry just waiting to go inside to see the place!

The first door we came to was......

Yes! Carl's office!

The wall was adorned with none other than....
Carl, his dad and his brothers. (Carl is the one on the right.)

Yuki Hamai, from the Japan office, was given the job of cameraman! Go Yuki!

Logan took us through the plant and explained how the potatoes are packaged.

Enjoy the pictures!

The next stop was Kyani Headquarters.
Seeing the Kyani headquarters was like going home.

The tour began.....

Michael busy at work in his office.....

Kent enjoyed greeting everyone with fun and laughter!

Pictures of Kyani's humanitarian trips to Peru are displayed on the wall.

Linda Taylor's beautiful painting is hung for everyone to see.

Once the tour of the offices was over, we got on a bus and headed out to Carl's farm.

You could see farmland for miles and miles.....

Carl was at the farm to greet us!

Many people had never seen such huge equipment!

Check it out! How many tires are taller than people?? Not too many.

The cellar....

was empty. However, in October, it will fill up with potatoes.

Carl is explaining his passion

and posing for pictures. Carl, we are very impressed with your operations! Awesome!

A potato combine.

Potato plants.

Because of the climate, sprinkler systems are used to water the farms.

We headed back to the office for......

lunch.

After lunch, we said "thank you" to Carl and Linda for their incredible inspiration and generosity to all.

Everyone, say "cheese"!

Our experience at the home office ended and another incredible experience began on the road to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

We arrived in beautiful Teton Village at the base of the Teton Mountain Range.

Beautiful!

Once we settled in the hotel, we went to a rodeo in Jackson Hole.

We love rodeos!

The bucking broncos,

the kids chasing the lambs,

and the barrel racing were part of the entertainment at the rodeo.

It was nice to have Jim and LeAnn Hansen join us for the evening.

The next day we woke up early and went to Yellowstone National Park.

World's Largest Collection of Geysers - Yellowstone National Park

It's a wonderland. Old Faithful and the majority of the world's geysers are preserved here. They are the main reason the park was established in 1872 as America's first national park—an idea that spread worldwide. A mountain wildland, home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of bison and elk, the park is the core of one of the last, nearly intact, natural ecosystems in the Earth’s temperate zone.
Here is what we saw on our way........

And here is what we saw when we got there!

We had lunch at the Yellowstone Lodge.

Old Faithful performed for us before we left.

Even though we are from around the world, we are part of a huge family enjoying each other and nature!

Hundreds of pictures were taken in this fabulous place!

Dora and Zoltan are finding themselves "experiencing more" everyday with Kyani!

Didem and Gulayrd couldn't have done a better pose with Nitro FX in action!!

Richard, are there any geysers in Korea?

Jet lag? What's that??

The next day people chose between white water rafting, biking, horse back riding, or riding on the tram. This group chose white water rafting......
Instructions were given before we left.

Promise we won't tip over??

If we do tip over, we're just "experiencing more", right?!

This white water rafting trip was soooooo fun and no one fell out! Kent kept everyone laughing the entire time.

That night we went to the Bar J Wranglers to eat barbecue and listen to live, country western music.

What a surprise!
My parents happened to be there too! It was so fun to see them.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is a destination for anyone to come and enjoy.

Our time in Idaho and Wyoming will forever be treasured in our hearts and minds. We definitely "experienced more" on this incredible trip!!
Thank you Kyani!
